With another name as Tulipa, which means 'Christmas Dream' Tulip inside Tulip (in Latin: Tulipa) is the name of the genus for 100 species of flowering plants that belong to the Liliaceae family. Tulips originated in Central Asia, growing wild in the Pamir mountains and the mountains of Hindu Kush and steppes in Kazakhstan. The Netherlands is known as the land of tulips.
